Tamara

Tamara is the youngest of five and the proud daughter of Overseer McCutchen. A devoted wife, teacher, mentor, and preacher, she made history as the first in her immediate family to graduate from college as Magna Cum Laude. As a dance and theatre teacher, Tamara strives to be a voice that God is pleased to call His servant.

My Story

I like to think of my life as a constantly unfolding movie—full of twists, turns, and unexpected moments. Growing up as the youngest of five and a preacher’s kid, there was always pressure to be the one who made a difference. But let’s be real—I was never the perfect preacher’s kid. I’ve made mistakes, and I’m still making them. But one thing I’ve never considered is losing sight of who I truly am.

The best part of my journey is discovering what God has planned for me and finding new ways to make Him proud while embracing the person He created me to be. Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. I’ve been told I wasn’t good enough, that I was too skinny, or that I didn’t fit in. But through it all, I’ve realized that my story is still unfolding—and the best chapters are yet to come.
